Resilient London

In a completely chaotic situation that could have resulted in a complete breakdown on life, the calmness of Londoners stood out. One can't help but admire the organised manner in which not only the emergency services dealt with the multiple blows, but equally those who were actually in or around the places affected.
Go London!!

I completely agree , and I mean it when I say that, coming from a country that is no stranger to internal rife and neighbours' hostility. There are people and communities around the world that need praise for smiling and carrying on against a lot of odds, who as you say, woodenpurse, deserve to be appreciated for their resilience and perseverence in life more than the obvious ones.
But when I say London, I am proud to include in it people of diverse races and cultures, who face life there today inspite of realising the changed gaze that they might be subject to because of their colour or race. These are people who will get on to the tube to try and get back to business as usual, knowing that there are people who won't board the same carriage as them for fear of the worst....And they still identify themselves as a part of the same community!!!
